Recap:

Episode 1:

• FL (Real Name He Yan) is trained to live as a boy named, He Rufei (fake) the eldest sone of He family since childhood, wearing mask so that no one recognized her.
• Xiao Zhongwu the commander of the Xiao Army and 30,000 troops die, because General Feihong/FL's army arrive late. Xiao Army loses the war with Wutuo
• ML blames He Rufei/FL for this.
• Real He Rufei who is FL's stepbrother take FL's place (identity swap) as General Feihong, orchestrate by FL's father and stepbrother
• Xiao Zhongwu who is labeled as "warmonger" blamed for the loss of war and it's 30,000 troops because He Rufei distorts the truth in court
• Xiao Zhongwu is striped of title and buried as commoner
• ML gets the decree to go to Que City and to create his own army
• FL who is blind thanks to her stepbrother and father, is send to Yuhua Temple
• He Rufei tries to kill FL using assassin, first time using her blindness to make it as suicide and second time direct assassination

• FL makes a bet with some soldiers of Xiao army (All side characters: )

• Wins the bet and make them as her subordinates
• ML is still suspicious of FL as a spy

Episode 4:

• Selection for Jiuqi Banner starts
• In the first challenge for the selection FL's team (all her subordinates) send to scout the mountain
• FL is tapped in a cave like pit while saving one of her subordinates named Wang Ba from wolves
• ML saves FL, Some bonding time
• ML finds out about FL's gender (FL is currently in disguise as male to join the army)
• SML's mother is dead and is actually adopted by his uncle family who does not treat him well
• SML is born out of wedlock, because of unknown father

Episode 5:

• ML doesn't have strong relationship with his mother or his family other than his father due to him been living the life an army man. He chose this life because in his family which have a military lineage every son has to take part in military, so he chose military life for the sake of his eldest brother and family
• Some bonding scenes between the leads
• ML now thinks that FL is not a spy but does not fully believe FL as he thinks that FL is hiding something
• Final round of the competition for Jiuqi Camp, Winner from the team will be selected to join the camp, Flag collection competition between teams
• FL team wins the competition and rank 1st, Collect all flags
• SML starts the plot against the ML under the order of his teacher using He Rufei
• FL is not selected for Jiuqi Camp

Episode 6:

• ML now suspects that someone else is spy and sets a trap for him by selecting him for Jiuqi Camp
• Drunk scene for cdrama fans
• FL goes to Yezhou city with ML for his next mission to prove to ML that she is eligible for Jiuqi Camp, ML is also planning to take her with him
• New mission is about investigating Sun family, Sun Xiangfu as he is not providing military provisions for Xiao army
• FL starts her own investigation on why He Rufei is in league with Sun Xiangfu

Episode 7:

• ML meets the FL disguised He Yan, ohhh they have already met in past
• SML already see through FL disguise and knows that the disguised FL, He Yan is actually a woman
• SFL in introduces, her name is Song Tao Tao. FL saves her from kidnapping
• SFL was running away from marriage but was about to be kidnapped by Sun family's eldest son Sun Ling
• SFL was engaged to 2nd SML
• Sun Ling likes to abduct woman for his enjoyment, but no one reports him because his father is a magistrate

Episode 8:

• Assassination attempt on ML by Ding Yi and Sun Xiangfu, SML manipulated them
• Attempt failed thanks to FL
• FL is blind again
• Some bonding time for leads
• FL is now cured due to her master's medicine but is faking it to make those behind assassination drop their guard
• Second assassination failed due to FL, This was directly planed by SML
• Some screentime for SML and FL (Hope is not obsessive like other evil SMLs)

Episode 9:

• Another failed attempt on the leads by He Rufei servant Ding Yi
• Chemistry is building up between the leads
• Ding Yi is dead; she takes her revenge by blinding him then kill him
• ML tell the FL that he knows that she is a woman
• ML unable to find more about FL's identity He Yan, Her master has plated her identity so well
• Funny scene: FL blackmail ML into recruiting her in the Jiuqi Camp

Episode 10:

• The leads discover dead bodies of many women buried, Victims of Sun Ling
• Leads sets a trap for both Sun Ling and Sun Xinagfu
• SML's servant Yin Xiang gets the ledger first which has all the proof of dealing between his master the Sun Xiangu
• SML's servant is skilled in martial arts
• SML reveals to FL that he knows that she is a woman

Episode 11:

• FL sense that there must be a conspiracy on Xiao army and General Xiao (Mingshu Battle)
• Funny scene: FL's team member in the army forcing her to join them in the hot spring (don't know FL's identity yet), Saved by ML
• Funny aftermath and chemistry buildup/bonding time nothing to recap here

Episode 12:

• Plot against Yezhou Garrison (Xiao Army) most likely by SML
• Lei Hou (Spy) is captured
• FL is injured but foils the plot by killing enemies general
• 2nd SML found out about FL identity as a woman
• Plot against ML and garrison failed, aftermath only FL is injured
• ML caring for FL

Episode 13:

• FL wants the reward for saving the garrison and foil the enemy's plot, she wants to join Jiuqi Banner, ML accepts. She is finally one step close to her goal
• unable to find the mastermind but ML gets a lead through Lei Hou
• Slow blade dance for cdrama fans
• FL sympathies for ML and also believe in him (flood accident in Que city)

• SML came to Yezhou garrison (plotting something)
• Jealous ML because of FL and SML bonding (drinking buddies :p)

Episode 20:

• FL's master preparing to start fight with the enemies' troops, He is playing zither surrounded by small troops
• FL impersonate as a princess leads the elite troops to divide the army and kills the enemy's general but is injured, ML saves FL from drowning 
• Half backed battle scene, no proper scenes how ML fought with enemy's general just scene skipped from fighting to where ML saves the drowning FL (rushed)
• FL's master dies by poison and exhaustion while fighting many troops
• SML paint's FL
• Crucial proof/key witness which can help in investigating Xiao army's massacre and the reason of their defeat is now in ML's hand

Episode 21:

• FL is now getting interested in things like cooking and embroidery
• FL cooked salty noodles for ML, he eats in one go, now no more for FL
• FL wants to embroider ML's clothes but there are none, so he tears up his sleeved so she can mend it
• Xu Jingfu was the mastermind behind Mingshu Battle, where 30,000 soldier perished
• He Rufei was indeed in collusion with Xu Jingfu  before Mingshu Battle
• Key witness that could clear Xiao commander's name dies, ordered by Xu Jingfu
• Character introduced Yang Mingzhi from ML's and FL's learning days from same school, their common friend

Episode 22:

• Whole episode on Yang Mingzhi's love story/back story
• Secrete is revealed due to Yang Mingzhi's ex-wife/wife, ML learns the secrete just before FL reveals it as she was ready to tell
• Misunderstanding due to secrete is revealed from someone else
• Fight between the leads, strain in relationship

Episode 23:

• SML is more scheming and manipulative than his teacher, more dangerous
• SML indirectly remove obstacles between his and FL by scheming and manipulating his teacher
• Doubt is cleared; it was He Rufei who met Chai Anxi to delay the troops for Xio army (Mingshu Battle)
• He Rufei and Xu Jingfu working together with Wutuo to end Xiao Zhongwu
• FL also found out about the collusion of He Rufei and Xu Jingfu, when He Rufei was staying in Yuhua temple
• SML starts to scheme for his personal gain, for reward and punishment for FL and ML respectively

Episode 24:

• SML indirectly manipulate reward and punishment for FL and ML respectively and blames it on his teacher
• Another friend of ML is introduced he is also a general
• SML offers FL to join him instead of remaining in Xiao army, ML is secretly listening to this and goes away before listening to FL's reply
• He Rufei kills all the deputy generals of his army (who were under FL when she was disguised, He Rufei)
• FL learns about the death of seven deputy generals, ML is there to support
• Misunderstand is resolved, ML now know about He Rufei and FL's situation, FL was not the one who order the army to delay or stop in the past

Episode 25:

• FL's team already knew her identity as woman. They saw her while she was going for her previous mission as husband and wife
• FL goes to Rundu with her team and SML tags along
• FL went there to save a general, who was her trusted aid when she was playing a role of He Rufei
• FL saves Rundu from Wutuo's army, by buying time and using a good strategy

Episode 26:

• ML gets a pouch as a love token from FL (made by her)
• ML arrived at Rundu to support FL
• Leads fighting together with Wutuo's army, with a pinch of romance in between the battle😋
• All the misunderstanding between the leads is solved, they talk it out
• FL almost kill the general of Wutuo army, as she thought ML is dead
