This series is about a man name Han Li and his journey of cultivation from an ordinary mortal to an Immortal.

About the Main Leads:

Han Li: The main lead, with False Spiritual Root, not so talented in terms of cultivation but with his wit and Intelligence plus eager to learn many other skills and abilities he becomes a strong cultivator

Nangong wan: The Female Lead, Elder of Masked Moon Sect, a very talented cultivator.

The Immortal Ascension Ending:

There is a war between the Seven Sect Alliance and Six Devil Dao Sect and Han Li does not want to participate in it as his only focus is cultivation so he teleports away from the war. If you ask me it is more of an cliffhanger, Where Han Li just teleport to the unknown (not shown where).

Is there any love triangle?

No, because the hero is not into romance his only focus is cultivation. Many fell in love with the hero but he does not reciprocate.

How is the chemistry between the leads?

The chemistry between the leads is zero, Some mishap (dual cultivation between the leads. i.e. fornicate in cultivation world) did happen in Ep. 12 but it was under the influence of aphrodisiac effect of a demonic core and because the female lead is at core formation stage she has an upper hand in terms of power which is why our hero reacts with cautious (There is an hierarchy in the cultivation world)
